Rest and Reign

I am getting attacked. But I'm not going to let it bother me because Isaiah 54:17 says that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. And there are tons of other verses in the Bible that tell me that I'm protected, that no matter what I see in the mirror, I AM HEALED AND WHOLE WITH ABUNDANT LIFE FLOWING THROUGH EVERY CELL IN MY BODY. Psalm 110:1-2 The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies! Because I am in Christ, my position is in Him. All I have to do is rest and let my Daddy God make sickness my footstool. When I rest, I reign, even in the midst of my enemies. - Now I shall stop looking at the sickness that is illegally in my body, and I'm going to stop focusing on healing too. I am going to fix my eyes on the HEALER and just watch Him do His work. Sometimes I forget just how great and mighty my God is. My God is the God who delivered His people from Egypt and protected and provided for them when they were under grace. He parted the Red Sea for them when the Egyptians were in hot pursuit, and caused Pharaoh's army's chariot wheels to swerve, making them drive with difficulty; so the Egyptians said, "Let us flee from Israel, for the Lord is fighting for them against us." (Exodus 14:25) Then He closed the sea over the Egyptian army's heads so they all died and Israel was safe from them. See, this is what God does to His people's enemies, k. Don't play play. Then, when Israel was in the desert, God provided food for them -- bread from heaven and quails for meat -- and water, that He caused to FLOW OUT FROM A ROCK. Not to mention that He literally stood watch over them as a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. God fights for His people. He fights for the ones He loves. He fought for Joshua, Gideon, David, Jehoshaphat... and so many more. I constantly have to remind myself that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Just as He was then, He is now. He HAS fought for me, is fighting for me, and will continue to fight for me till He makes all my enemies my footstool. That's the way it has always been and always will be. (Y) And honestly? Next to an entire army of millions of people coming up against His people, what is a small sickness in His beloved daughter's body? A tiny problem that shouldn't be there and will be dealt with in the blink of an eye. No, in fact, Jesus already dealt with all sickness at calvary, so actually, it's all settled already. The victory is truly already mine. "Rule in the midst of your enemies."
